What is “an Ecumenical Catholic community?”

We are:

Ecumenical:  Welcoming persons of all faith traditions to the Table of the Lord

Catholic:        Grounded in Catholic identity and spirituality

Community:   All are welcome.

We are concerned, committed Catholics forging a path toward the reform and renewal of the Church. Embracing inclusivity, we:

• allow priests the freedom to marry and raise families
• give women the opportunity to serve God’s people as ordained ministers
• freely give Jesus’ gift of Eucharist to all the baptized, whether Catholic or Protestant, and welcome all to the celebration of the sacraments
• recognize the dignity of all human beings regardless of their race, national origin, gender or sexual orientation
• strive for justice within the church as well as throughout the world
• are a member of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion.
